eh...circumference comes from the increments of the tire maker as aspect ratio graduations are in 5% increments and width in 10 mm increments. It does happen that larger diameter wheels mean a lower circumference, but we are talking about very small numbers typically.

I don’t think O&G would complain about a “fuel floor tax” as Tekamul described. The market/OPEC would continue to drive prices/profits. The trucking, taxi, manufacturing, labor, construction lobbies would have a problem with it and retailers would raise the prices of food, clothes, and services.

Right, with that one piece 180* flip that’s a lot of weight to move in that manner.  Most storable hardtops are segmented or stay in the same orientation and move up and rearward.  They would need a bunch or reduction gears to do that electrically.
