There were was a great New Yorker article recently about Oberlin and all the young liberal activists there. I forget the title, but it really was kinda disturbing with all the examples they gave, like trigger warnings on Antigone or people who've let one aspect of their identity, like black or queer, subsume all other

"…adorable, tiny dogs with smashed-in faces"
Hey man, don't be so ruff on them.

Maria Bamford probably got to take over GJI! for the day. That's the only plausible explanation.

To be fair, I think modern literature is discussed in a much smaller timeframe than modern history.

At first I thought the headline read "Olenna Tyrell" and I was disappointed to find out it was actually Margaery

Really liked it. Not enough of Begley and Mary Kay-Place yet, but hopefully there will be more in later episodes. "Side-car" has already turned into an inside joke with my friends.

'Occasionally'? How often do you visit What's On Tonight?
Also, Block & Tackle is really good.

I certainly hope so!

I was really liking the finale, but when I saw it was going that way I started internally cringing. Not a nice way to go, and I hope they change it. Maybe the Rush kid again? Even that would be better tbh.

That's kinda my experience right now. One of my friends talks about life being 'pointless' or how 'we can't change anything' it seems like every day. I don't think he actually thinks that, and that its just edgy teen bullshit, but it gets me down after reading or talking about a favorite TV show or book or what have

I got a Cheers notification for this?

What? There was another Ted Danson account? Where???

Man, I loved the second season a lot, more than I liked the first. The whole Mikey-Titus storyline was just a step above what they did last year with him, and helped get rid of some of the more stereotypical, to put it lightly, facets of Titus on display last year. Lisa Kudrow was an inspired piece of casting, like

Like somebody else posted, The Middle is great with that.

I was about to comment exactly that. It depicts the realities of working paycheck to paycheck extremely well, while still being funny. Even other sitcoms where the family is more comfortable, like Fresh Off the Boat or Black-ish, there's still realistic depictions of having to provide for kids and worrying about money.

Family loved this episode. The return of Charlie was highly anticipated, and we were falling over with laughter when he popped up in the end tag. It seems like the best episodes of Black-ish do a great job of blending both social issues and commentary and hilarious one-liners and gags.

Somebody took my computer, copy-pasted. For some reason, that was there. Fixed now.

Does this mean that Hulu's Criterion Collection is going to be leaving?
