:/ wish i could've commented more. This was always a great community, and even if the site slipped in quality I still visited the comments. Thanks y'all

I'm really liking Planetarium, Jupiter especially. Album does kinda sag in the middle.

Wait, wasn't it Thomas Mann? According to Wikipedia, he's around 25 years old. So Ennis would be around 60 probably, even further from the age he looks.

And the Carrie & Lowell live album, which I'm really hyped for, especially Sufjan Stevens covering Hotline Bling.

Neil Cicierega, for one.

Glad this got over a 1000 comments. Kinda surprised, but man this has been a fantastic show to follow.

Great ep. I thought Johan was going to move out, but then almost immediately moved back in? Either way, glad the AV Club reviews are back for this.

Any thoughts on Manchester By the Sea?

I thought it was just she mispronounced 'annual' accidentally and then ran with it?

Good Country Dicks

I'm going to see it on it's last day!

what a great fucking show. damn.

That last bit about "Needle" really hit me hard. When I first watched Tenenbaums, I was pretty much blown away. I've probably watched the "Needle" scene a hundred times. Anderson is forever going to be my favorite director, favorite artist after I watched this movie. Thanks for writing this, Will.

"Manchester by the Sea". I loved it so, so much. Probably one of the best film-going experiences of my life too.

Birthday yesterday, so I got some cool new books. I've started Revolution Was Televised by Alan Sepinwall and I'm really liking it. It's pretty great comfort reading, especially if you want insights into how something like FNL or Sopranos was made. Also got White Trash, which should be interesting, and Heart of Europe,

I went for the house burning in Manchester by the Sea. I was practically frozen to my seat. In retrospect, the music was pretty cliche, but IMO that doesn't really detract from it's original power.

Jesus Christ the Daily Mail grows more sane every day.

Fucking love this show.
