And honestly, I get the need for things to tie-in/crossver with the films, so I would definitely take this over just putting Rogers back in the Cap mantle in time for the movie (like BuckyCap, SpideyOck, etc).

They used some of those guys later, but WWE doesn’t like to fully push people from outside companies. Every time Booker or Jericho started getting too much momentum they would send HHH or the Rock to squash and humiliate them as a reminder that they wouldn’t be allowed to be top tier.

Agreed. I’ve seen a lot of complaints about it being made “cutesy” for girls and “disney princess faces”, and blah-blah-blah.
But as a comic book fan, I’m really excited about anything that introduces my daughter into the world of superheroes.
