Not one single motorcyclist wants the complexity. A token amount of range for the extra cost of being a PHEV/Hybrid isn’t worth the $$$ or the longer term service work to maintain it.

That same regulation though is what created monopolies (created by gov’t). Ride share was an answer to that. That I can get and uber or lyft far more readily than a cab is also proof positive we needed a disruptive business model to emerge.
