They never put a lot of marketing behind it and the dealers were never really educated. Lastly, the dealers never invested in having truly certified Volt techs in house. The service experience at dealers has been nothing short of frustrating since the Gen 1 first came out and never got better... and now is getting

Volt owner here...

Boards generally don’t pay a lot in salary. -could be $50k to $250k . They do however potentially get $1 to $4 million in other options.

Meh. My truck sits for three to four weeks at a time and it’s fine. Usually gets run somewhere every two weeks though. If you properly maintain your vehicle, letting it sit for a few weeks now and then isn’t really going to cause much of anything in the way of harm.

Our car? Plug in Hybrid. Engine automatically forces

I work for a software vendor... The unplanned for costs to move workers to home is pretty high... Laptops, accessories, software... Not to mention the man hours cost to IT. Companies are struggling with it.

200k is not party time... and depending where you live...

It’s more comfortable than 100k but seriously, doubling 100k to 200k doesn’t feel like doubling your money at all.

You can tax the rich at 100%, including inheritance and you’d never even balance the budget. That would work to close the gap to some degree for one tax year... then what are you going to do?

And how much were your payments on that debt? How long would $10k have paid monthly payments?

NYC has 9 million people? So they have roughly 3060 critical care beds with Ventilators.

NY has 8516 infected currently with 60 people currently in serious or worse condition that are hospitalized. That is the state of NY. Yet the Mayor is demanding 15,000

“I always cherish every vehicle I buy,”

No.. You are the one misunderstanding... I did indeed mean deficit.

You could tax the rich at 100% and seize their wealth and you’d still have a deficit here in the US. That is indeed the math.

The more gov’t taxes the more they spend anyway on things not related to crisis management and prep. Stop kidding yourself.

No they don’t. Those tax shelters by and large are legal. Just ask the Kennedy Family Trust.... Blame the politicians who over decades allowed these regulatory blunders to be passed.

AS someone pointed out... Wealth is not a measurement of cash or solvent capital. Assuming that a billionaire’s wealth  is all liquid is

Nah... Probably $8k is more realistic for this given it’s miles and the fact that it isn’t already lifted with the wiring mess of stereo head unit, amps and subs.

I hate the fucker... But that is some straight up bull shit. Must be a slow day at jalopnik to make that reach.

Just last night a jeep went by me with two very obnoxious LED mini light bars lit...ASSHOLE.

Yep... Forgetting that a 40 mpg car of today actually pollutes less than this one does regardless of mpg....
