Even panels on the wings wouldn’t provide enough charge under even ideal sun light conditions to give you meaningful range in a partial day of charging via solar. You’d have to let it sit for weeks. This has been documented by a few engineers and people who have experimented with this on cars. I think for the cars

Why not run the engines on what it carries? That would be pretty neat.

Oh? Aside from the stellar Volt which GM discontinued, they are a big fat nothing burger on EVs that the public actually fucking wants to buy. Spark? Bolt? Laughable.

GM only has promises for EVs coming. Fiat/Chrysler is even more quiet. The only one of the Big three with anything tangible in the works is Ford. They

8 foot box.

I select prepay when I rent for work as expensing gas is a royal pain in the ass via our expense system... So there’s that.

Talk to HR? Not sure the industry or size of your company but most large companies have a performance improvement plan that can be initiated  to get the employee on track or out of your hair. It’s a she, so tread carefully.

Pretty much every corporation I’ve worked for has put in place hiring freezes. That allow people to move around internally, but blocks most external hiring. As people naturally leave the company or move internally, things get naturally right sized.

Plastic, LEDs, BAttery...

Windows also likely replaced for this test with Lexan plastic sheet. That was my first thought.

FSAs suck. I ran into the same shit with denying my claims to the point I had to escalate to our company’s internal rep to put pressure on them to pay out - they did.

This...Fuck EV 1/2 ton trucks. Give me a plug in hybrid in everything from 1/2 ton to 1 ton trucks and now we are talking. My truck sits in the driveway a week at a time without moving. I bought it for towing. I tow every three months... sometimes more, sometimes less, but 6000-8000 pounds and sometime short distance

14,000-pound tow claim... on a unibody? Does not compute.

Some of the Gen 1 owners are starting to get unhappy as things break and they find the dealer just don’t want to work on them nor do they know how to work on them.

It’s a tight job market. If you have a marketable in demand skill, you will make more just by changing employers. If you are a stick in the mud then that’s on the employee.

Funny... I was 30 in 2000 and my income has more than tripled.

I own a Volt and love the thing. I get 58-68 miles per charge during the spring through early fall months here in NC.  To get a plug in hybrid that got less range in EV mode would be a hard pill to swallow especially when on gas the Volt gets near 40Mpg and this Rav4 is going to be hard pressed to get 25Mpg from the

Different animal though. Homes generally go up in value.

The Mustang Mach E is simply an effort by Ford to lower the percentages of Mustang on pedestrian violence and reclaim their good name.

I own a Volt. I have driven a Tesla Model 3 Performance edition. The Volt was affordable and it’s road manners are very predictable - It drives just like our old 2005 Malibu did with it’s push rod V6. Acceleration is about the same. It’s a car.
