Regarding charging EVs. Certainly apartment complexes could be more EV friendly.

Or pony up for the more expensive seats in first class or economy plus.

I use an independent mechanic I know personally for our out of warranty stuff... I do hesitate to think that he’ll be able to do a complex repair on our volt that has to do with the Voltec drive system.

The Ford dealer and the Chevy dealer we’ve used for our vehicles were both initially above board. Hell, even the old

I really like buttons and knobs.

I’d be very skeptical of the state of that fresh water tank. Lot of trailer owners don’t properly maintain them year to year and you are dealing with an old camper that has had many owners. You might want to stuff a camera down there as well have the water tested by a professional after your own sanitizing efforts.

Have you inspected and properly sanitized the fresh water tank?

Wrong. That is so 1990's. Last three large multinational companies I have worked for walked that back.  The old rule was anything over 8 hours... Now you get booked coach - no exceptions. You can upgrade using your own points or own credit card.

Nor only that... I’m one of those frequent business flyers... I do indeed take flights on my own dime on occasion where it doesn’t make sense to use miles or when I’m flying a different airline. So that tax would fuck me for my work related travel.

Tax every flyer equally. Those that fly more will by default pay more

I went to a Kawasaki and for the last ten years have ridden two different Spyders... Which aren’t bikes, but are fantastic for touring which is the direction my riding went after being done with sport bikes. Going to have a new and larger garage soon, so I do want to get a two wheel run about town bike. Fazer would be

I also had an 86 Fazer. Thing was a sleeper - surprised a lot of kids on their newer sport bikes light to light.

I sourced another motor for it and enjoyed it until my next accident. Sold it to a guy that rebuilt her again.  Still looking to find a stock unmolested one out there for sale.

* I own a Volt... Best of both worlds even if it was a low margin product for GM.

“At best, if that happened when you were driving in a straight line, you would have rapidly and without your permission come to a stop”

Ditto. Do I like riding in the rain? No. Will I? Without a second thought. Rode two hours in the rain yesterday... I arrived dry which is really the most important thing. If you aren’t an idiot, riding in the rain can be safe.

Yeah... he’s taking a play right out of David Tracey’s play book.

“A U-Haul car trailer with a car on it might weigh 7,500 pounds. Many camper trailers are less than half that.”

“American consumers have shown over and over again that while they like the idea of Made In America, they aren’t willing to pay a dime extra for that. “

Yet I bought my tires from a Canadian company who makes the tires in Thailand... and guess what? Those tires are the most expensive for my need, but they are also the

“American auto companies were built on their workers”

Real simple. I work from home. My wife works 5 miles from home. Thanks to my job she has flexibility in where she works and not as sensitive to pay/benefits. That’s great for us though I realize that isn’t the way it works for many...But I’ve worked professionally from home since 1996 for various companies. I do

I don’t understand why people lease such cheap cars...Well, I do understand, but it just doesn’t make for a good financial decision.

1. They are affordable when you factor in the alternatives to power a whole house.
