I’m operating on the assumption extremes happen on at least two sides. Everything you listed is absolutely extreme; I suspect their would be an opposite extreme as well.

I mean, he’s not wrong though. I have seen plenty of broadcasts where refugees are being interviewed on their way here, and they say they know the misery that awaits them in the US, but it is still worth the risk as opposed to staying in their countries. That’s a really sad state of affairs.
I’m going to go ahead and ask the question to something I’ve never understood... why are motorcycles even legal?
I mean, I like Bernie, but “solving” the “problem” with the Democratic party cannot possibly be as simple as swinging wildly to the left, and alienating literally everyone that isn’t already there.
The last election was lost largely in part to the Democratic candidate deciding huge swathes of the electoral map were already her’s, and she didn’t bother to campaign in them.
Electorally speaking. Presenting a more extreme candidate isn’t going woo over anyone center-enough to possibly vote either direction.
It is pretty sad, isn’t it? Nike decides to not make red, white, and blue shoes anymore, and the reaction from some folks is essentially “HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO AMERICA?!”
Unrelated to topic.
We currently have the president we have because of the electoral college, not because most people voted for him. Most people did NOT vote for him, he lost the popular vote, ergo, most people were not drawn to extremes.
Well, that’s dreadful. My commute is 30 minutes in each direction.
I don’t care about the 5th Pho place the local city has or the myriad places to see a band. I’m a dad with a 4 year old. Those things appealed to 35 year old me, not 45 year old me. I care about the beer garden that brings in 5 food trucks on a weekend a mile from home and has games for my kid, the huge playground at…
The suburbs around Richmond, VA. Traffic isn’t too bad, because there are several major interstates and other roads that go around the entire city; 95, 295, 288, 895, and 64.
Big cities are trash. There are too many people, too much traffic, too much everything, and everyone is always in a hurry, or in a bad mood, or both.
The danger of calling America the greatest country that ever existed is people start to believe it. It’s those that see the bullshit and set out to make it what they were told it was that scares the likes of the GOP and their donors.
Going further left isn’t a solution. Why do so many people on the left think going even more left is going to work? Most people aren’t drawn to extremes, and the funny thing is that a lot of the same people saying we should go further left are the ones saying increasing extremism on the right isn’t sustainable. If…
If you don’t know if someone is capable of consent, then it is impossible for you to obtain consent. If you have sex with them, you are raping them.
That’s not the scenario being discussed here. The scenario being discussed here is that he fucked someone who was not in a state where they were capable of consent. That’s rape.
Actually, he’s not. If you actually learned how to read, and then comprehend what you’re reading, you’d see that he said he misread a signal, and his date didn’t say “no”.
Netflix has evidently determined that we’re all ready to welcome Aziz Ansari back into the entertainment world...
In order to best represent the travesty occurring at the border, it would be awfully nice if we weren’t being red-herring’d with diversionary misrepresentations of facts.
