I’m operating on the assumption extremes happen on at least two sides.  Everything you listed is absolutely extreme; I suspect their would be an opposite extreme as well.

I mean, he’s not wrong though.  I have seen plenty of broadcasts where refugees are being interviewed on their way here, and they say they know the misery that awaits them in the US, but it is still worth the risk as opposed to staying in their countries.  That’s a really sad state of affairs.

We currently have the president we have because of the electoral college, not because most people voted for him. Most people did NOT vote for him, he lost the popular vote, ergo, most people were not drawn to extremes.
