“Employees can’t enforce it”? Why not? That’s just bad business practice. If you put a sign on the door requiring masks and then don’t enforce it, you’re opening yourself up to lawsuits. As soon as an employee gets sick, they can sue for creating an unsafe work environment. If a customer gets sick, they can also sue.

I wonder what the new evidence is?  In any case, I’m glad they are at least open to allowing him to participate.  The idea that he could have broken new records and they could just say “Nah, we’re not going to recognize that” is just ridiculous.  Like... that’s not how reality works...

Basically, the argument seems to be “If it is comfortable for others, but not for me, remove it!”  So voice chat should be removed because some people feel to self-conscious to use it.  Makes total sense.  It is the same reason we should shut down gyms, ban certain types of clothing, and perhaps disallow people from

I’d love to turn in 2Fa.  Someone buy me a compatible smart device.

Doom Eternal is indeed a rather odd beast. The combat is, more often than not, SUBSTANTIALLY more exciting than Doom 2016. The game thrives on it, it is where the title truly shines. I think the increased platforming also adds a new interesting layer to gameplay. But then there are the things that work, and still

You can straight up just fire the BFG-9000 to impact somewhere behind the Marauder and kill it instantly. I’ve done it twice now.

He’s only saying there are too many Fire Emblem characters in the game so that he can slap us across the collective face when he reveals the next 6 DLC characters to all be blue-haired anime Fire Emblem swordsman.

Harry isn’t even remotely close to being in a contender for the throne. He’s like 6th in line at this point. Barring some statistically improbable, tragic freak accident, he will never have to worry about being king. And yet, he is expected to be a good boy and play nice by following an immeasurable number of

This fucking name... seriously? Microsoft’s marketing team needs to be tricked into the conference room with promises of cake, then shot.

It looks like a bastardized Amazon Echo from an alternate universe.

I’ve come to the conclusion that the ultimate sin of GoT S8 was forgetting that Jon had been set up as the pivotal character for the entirety of 3 or 4 previous seasons. It felt like watching a completely different show; a show that forgot Jon was brought back from the dead, or faced down the Night King at Hardhome,

Interestingly, Digital Foundry found that the few graphical tweaks made to the Switch version of Alien: Isolation actually means it runs better than the PS4 version.

I honestly had to do a double-take reading the headline. Like...

“Inside Japan’s First Nintendo Store... wait... Nintendo didn’t already have a store in Japan?!”

Well, making him more cartoon-like helps to sell the more absurd aspects of the movie.

Free Hong Kong? Dang, that’s a hell of a deal.  How much does a Hong Kong usually cost?  Because it looks like the Chinese done gone and grabbed up all the free Hong Kong for themselves.

Does Sojourn even count?  She’s Canadian, so are we deducting woke points?

China sees the sign “Free Hong Kong”, and they thought to themselves “Wow, its free?  That’s a heck of a deal!  We’ll take one, please.”

Why would the balance be anymore difficult?

The multiplayer should, as far as I can see, be the same across both OW1 and OW2. The only addition to both will be new heroes.

The leveling up stuff and ability unlocks will presumably be limited to PvE.

I don’t want to imply Diablo 2 is overrated, but I think the game largely stood out as something special not because it was a particularly amazing game compared to Diablo 3, but because it was a good online multiplayer game at a time when there were so few online multiplayer games.  Just having the Battle.net service

I don’t particularly hate the idea, but I’m not really excited about it either. After sticking with FO76 since launch, I do think the current product is actually quite a respectable attempt at an online Fallout experience.

The problem with this service is that private servers, aside from mod support, seem sort of
