And... uhh... I know I'm new to soccer and all, but I've become a fan of DC United (living in Northern VA), and while yeah, the quality isn't what the World Cup quality was, it's still fun to watch. And super fun to go to games.

Simmons has said that whether he renews his contract with ESPN depends on whether ESPN continues their relationship with the NBA. Which is very very likely. But on the off-chance ESPN decides not to renew its contract with the NBA, Simmons has said he'd leave and go to TNT or another network that does have the NBA

Ah, that is an excellent point.

Could it be that the "journalistic integrity" they were referring to is Simmons cursing? I mean, I know they bleeped it, but they're still against cursing.

The very rarely seen double-woosh. Nice.

Who gets to be connected like Peter King and still engage his critical thinking ability? Barnwell and Mays over at Grantland? Anyone else?

I don't know, are there? The fact is that the only reason Peter King ever got to be Peter King in the first place is because he had all these connections, right? And that's who gave him the information he needed so that he could print the information and become famous, right? So if he's lighting up Roger Goodell today

A good poop joke will always get a +1

Also it would suck if they release him because he's still on my fantasy team.

Listening to (relatively) intelligent reporters who are well informed and having thoughtful discussions with each other?

That looks like way more than 140 characters, though. I wonder how he did that?

This is the correct response.

I always wonder how these teams can spend hundreds of millions of dollars on a stadium and practice facility, but somehow they don't even have separate shower stalls in the locker rooms. Seems like an important thing to me.

Public urination, shoplifting, disturbing the peace, open container, contempt of court and joyriding?

Oh for fuck's sake Washington Post.

I can't believe they're trying to say they weren't made aware of the plans in advance. They've been talking about doing this on ESPN radio for two solid weeks. So ESPN is saying, "Hey, we don't listen to our own programming enough to know what our on-air personalities are talking about." ? ?? That's insane.

That link is just a list, so we can't judge how they made their determinations, but I'll take issue with any list comparing "size" of anything (population, market share, anything) that puts Buffalo (51) ahead of New Orleans (53).

+1...2... .... ... ... ... ... ... [kick out]

I notice you didn't respond to the follow-up of did you cry when you read the one star amazon review.

Wagenblast is absolutely jobbed. Easily a 4 seed in any other year.
