acceptable for government to tax those who can’t pick up and move or choose somewhere else as high as it possibly can

If a tax break is required for a business then the taxes are too high for everyone preventing countless others without access to political office holders to never be able to create businesses.

Despite it being a French Canadian thing, it’s extremely popular in Toronto. In more than just a “yeah yeah you can get it everywhere now” way.

Yorkville makes a hell of a lot more sense than Jack Astor’s.

Your personal opinions of the music aside. If you were tasked with making the all-star weekend in Toronto a success how in the fuck could you consider not getting Drake.

I agree 100%. If they didn’t want it to be a popularity contest then they shouldn’t have made it a popularity contest.

Because $50.

Because $50.

As someone who has done this (not in NYC), I’ll chime in. Of course it’s dangerous, but hardly more dangerous than snowboarding down a typical mountain. One thing I would have advised to this guy is wearing a helmet, since there isn’t much snow between you and the concrete (again though, it’s not much worse than

It is a simple statement, and the statistics show that it is founded on a correct assumption.

Statistics showing that females have to worry much more about being murdered by significant others doesn’t maker her quote reasonable. This is coming from a Canadian who respects a lot of what Atwood has done.

If 100 men get murdered, and 2.5% of them are killed by their SO women, that’s 2.5 men. Fixed that for you. Not sure why you compared 100 to 1000. Not even close to equal

Being able to do something is very different then enjoying doing it asshole. I’m quite capable of driving without these gadgets, that doesn’t mean they aren’t enjoyable.

There will still be someone behind the wheel who is legally the driver. From the law’s perspective it’s just an advanced cruise control. Any infractions or accidents would be the responsibility of the “driver”.

Yeah, honestly we should be welcoming the day where everyone’s driving is controlled by some central authority. Less traffic, fewer accidents.

If your biggest concern is a driverless car snitching on your bad driving, maybe you should go back to driver’s ed.
