Sayaka all day. She was the best, if also the most complicated. That scene on the train when she confronted those guys about the way they were talking about some girl they knew? Loved it. Sayaka stood for both my idealism and my cynicism at the same time and died for it.

FAKE NEWS!

People still calling it cybersports? I guess that’s how it goes on the information superhighway.

Newsflash: Many relationships came out f’ed up before this was made.

It’s interesting to note that a lot of top Melee players now broke into the top echelon when they were around 16 years old as well (Mango, Mew2king, Armada, and Hungrybox).

If it was melee or PM it would be impressive.

two almost completely similar versions of a game series

A lot of older people play Melee and are still good at the game, honestly, Smash doesn’t require as much twitch reaction as most people believe. It’s more focused on mind-games and baiting or predicting your opponents.

Not sure how an attempt to ban a boring map constitutes a “no fun allowed” policy...

Armada (currently signed to Alliance).

I honestly think, as an avid Street Fighter player myself, that Smash Bros is one of- if not THE- hardest fighters to get to that level of play in. Which is insane when you consider that it’s also one of the most accessible. Because mind-games are one thing in a fighter, and technical/execution skills are another. And

I’ll never understand how this game isnt bigger than it is. I dont think theres another fighting game with this level or depth. I’m sure people can argue me on that, and I definitely appreciate the immense skill that goes into games like Marvel vs Capcom, Street Fighter and Tekken.

god damn that was a sick set

Well that’s a lot of information you missed out of your previous post.

A 1992 Honda Civic is one of the most reliable cars ever. They’ll keep running long after a modern car breaks down.

Oh you poor soul. lol So out of the loop.

The same could be said of all pro sports though. People deserve to get paid to play when the exhibit a certain level of skill, enough to warrant an audience.

Yes, and the best players in the world main peach, jigglypuff, and sheik.
