I look at it this way: A big lump of a V8 is fun. Until last night the only way to have a mid engined american V8 was to do a kit car (Factory Five, or Superlite), which would take a lot of time, and money, and turn out like a kit car - not saying that’s bad, just that the effort you put in is what you get out.

Now

“The Grand Sport was/will be the track package.”

Aaron, there are a fair number of comments that seen to show a fair and living wage exists for Uber/Lyft drivers. Seeing as it should be fairly easy for a person to sign up as a driver for either company, has Jalopnik considered signing up drivers in a few different communities and doing some in depth research to

Well said. I'm looking forward to reading the final details.

I miss the classifieds section of Roadracing World. It was the only real thing of value in that rag. But alas, TZ250s have become scarce.

I received a subscription as a gift, just before the revamp. I grew up reading Cycle, Cycle World, Motorcyclist, and Bike (out of the UK). When Cycle got absorbed and shut down the US content really took a hit. The writing, humor, and photography in Bike - and other UK rags - was always head and shoulders ahead of the

“We worked together for just over a year, my dad and myself, Sal Barone (who practically lived at Pininfarina during this project), and the team at Pininfarina. We built two, full-scale 1:1 models to make sure every angle was perfect.”

I’ve hated on Tesla and Musk plenty. With that said, I give them serious props. This is big volume.

They are subsidizing the costs of rides with investor money. Basically, if the cost of operating the ride (transaction fees, paying the driver, etc) costs $15, they charge the rider $10, and eat the other $5. Multiply this by all the rides that occur on a daily/monthly/quarterly basis, and you spend a metric shit ton

The ‘stealing’ of IP is upfront and in every contract that the manufacturers enter into. It is the US entities own fault for selecting a manufacturer that is going to knowingly have access to, and in some cases rights to.

As for pollution and human oppression, have you looked at what the US stance on climate control,

Can we stop giving these asshats free press, at least until they get charged with money laundering?

Hey Subaru, this is how you update platforms.

I can confirm spiders. When I worked for a Kawasaki shop in Oakland, we had a brand new Kawasaki ZX10 arrive in the crate. During the un-crating process the tech discovered an entire nest of black widows.

That was...fun.

Yeah, if this were a public company I would agree. This smells like a money laundering operation to me though. Gain enough legitimacy to get some loans, funnel illegal cash through, write off absurd events as marketing, then bankrupt the whole thing with no owner outlay.

Yeah, as I’ve said before this is clear money laundering. They used the “signage” you found as proof that they advertised there, and wrote off the trip for likely multiple “executives,” and other “employees.” They will probably also include the cost of any artwork padded to the high heavens.

Maybe Uber should buy Tesla...

Jalopnik staff is at it again. Jumping to conclusions around the viability of Tes...oh wait, this is a different questionable electric vehicle company? Carry on.

The proper dirt bag climber vehicle is the one and only Nissan Puslar NX Sportback:

That’s sort of the whole thing. It's easy to move money to "subcontractors" in large amounts, when the activity is understood to be exorbitantly expensive.
