In New England, I’ve got friends who love their Hyundai’s for the first couple of years, and then they fall apart faster than a VW. I’m hoping that’s similar to the teething issues Honda and others faced in the 70s/80s, but it still makes me gun shy.

How has the quality been? I’ve had friends with Hyundai’s, and while they’re great for the first couple of years, they’ve all fallen apart by year 4 (this is in new-england so winter salt is destructive).

I’ve looked at used models, but the quality scares me off.

You’re definitely right that if he fails to follow through the unions will be all over him.

I’m not the petty jack ass who went back to a post 4 months old to try and start shit.

Lying occurring in a car dealership? Say it ain’t so!

Where are you? In New England the dealers can’t even be bothered to call me back, and won’t give me a loaner for the full day they need the car.

Great, there goes any work effectiveness I had for the rest of the week.

The roads are murder on wheels and suspension here. Maybe that’s why? I did see one on my way north last weekend on 95.

Lets give the little guy (ok, he may not be little, I don’t actually know him), palatov Motors:

And then promptly killed off the company.

I’m very ok with that.

Imagine an entire country filled with smooth back roads, elevation changes, sweepers, tight corners, and beautiful surroundings. Oh, and areas where there are no speed limits.

A 6 speed sequential is hardly a slushbox.

I didn’t claim it was happening, I said its a misuse of influence if provable. It would go a long way towards easing peoples fears if the president were to release his tax records to show his investments. Prior to my statement, I said that I’d love to see the accounting of the companies involved to trace it back. It’s

This is the kind of comment that I really don’t understand from US citizens. The sitting president has refused to release his tax returns, and there is very compelling evidence to show his campaign was working with the Russians. Everything he does should be suspect until proven otherwise.

That’s my point.... It’s a shit show of misuse of influence for certain individuals, if provable.

I’m speaking specifically about those who were present in SA at the time of the announcement. People who are not allowed to profit off of their influence.

It’s not about the companies making profit, it’s about individuals in office profiteering off of their position of influence.

I’d love to see the accounting of each company and trace back their investors to see who in Washington is making a profit off this deal.

Theft is completely normal. ‘Theft’ in the form of walking into a store and stealing is not the normal, but one party taking something from another without their implicit consent is the model of capitalism.
