You have expressed (far more eloquently) how I feel about guns and games anymore.

Viewtiful Joe neeeeeeeeeds to be in smash. He’s tailor-made for it.
I can’t help but see the dark sign in her eye before it focuses.... If dark souls is in smash I will lose my mind.
I hear only praise for Divinity, but having played the first (well, 2/3rds? of it) I thought it was.... okay? I just finished up the second major zone (the woods with the mine) and the game is starting to get tedious. The dialog is varies between cringe-worthy and hammy, and most of the NPC’s are about 3 dialog boxes…
I wonder if the popularity is due to:
boy, the censorship trolls are strangely quiet about this.
I feel you. When I was in college and had all the time in the world to practice, I LOVED fighting games.
The Blanka Balls were never an issue for me.
When you read what this guy says, it looks exactly like Trump’s speech patterns.
Amen. My wife and I eat cereal for dessert, because let’s be honest, that’s what it is.
As I’ve been telling my friends, we have a Humanitarian problem in America.
So, I’ve played 4U for about 150 hours (I know, not much compared to many people), but the game got real stale for me at that point - grinding endlessly just to get upgrade mats, having to take time out to manage the obnoxious inventory system or collect/duplicate materials through the wyporeoum, and fighting what…
Fuuuuuck yes DS!!
huh. the more you know...
1) I agree and 2) I didn’t even know there were prefabs that did that kind of thing. I must have been lucky the last few times :D
I agree on all fronts here. If there’s one big thing I learned from watching them, it’s that the complete “ecosystem” of parts working together well is JUST as important as the relative power of the parts by themselves. There are a ton a variables and you will get burned if you don’t put in a lot of time understanding…
I’ve built a handful of systems (but this was at least 10 years ago, if not longer), and I guess this is what aggravates me when people say it’s always better to build your own. There’s a pretty big “if” in there, and I’ve seen it cost people a lot of money and time.
I’ve had the opposite experience. I bought a pre-built gaming computer about 5 years ago because I am lazy and wanted to play games. Around that same time, my brothers-in-law both decided to build their own.
I’ve had too many friends lose hundreds of dollars to installation screw ups to ever want to build a PC again. Well, at least not until I can have a ton of extra money to replace anything that breaks. It’s just not worth the headache for me.
You know, I’ve been doing this with my phone (Note makes it easy to, well, take notes), but I’ll give your pocket notebook a go. Something about being able to tear it out and maybe put it alongside the longform thought might lend it more weight.
