great advice. I slip into the trap of trying to plan the future and it never, ever works out. I tend to be happier when I plan short-term and try to roll with it. I’ll apply that ideology to this exercise as well!
First off - ARE YOU ME? I could have written that first paragraph.
If I remember correctly, it’s at the bottom of the “add funds” screen, and is not as noticeable as the “add x amount” options.
I think the most eye-opening part of this exercise for me was that I honestly can’t answer most of the questions:
this is a good take. I like this.
“(why can’t I just pay the price for a game I want to buy instead of buying ‘credit’ in increments of $5.00?).”

This game could be a 10 and if avoid it like the plague based on character designs alone. Yeesh.
hah, no joke. Once I unlocked the class that put the women in stereotypical Middle-Eastern belly dancer outfits, I noped right out of that game.
I’ll tell you why I wrote off anime: Fanservice ambushes.
This would be hilarious if I didn’t hear this exact argument, made in earnest, coming from my brothers-in-law defending this sort of thing.
My wife and I were convinced we had accidentally traveled to an alternate universe, because our Best Buy had like 20 of each variety on the floor, and yet 0 (zero, none, zip, zilch) copies of Sonic Forces for any platform.
“You might be very skilled and far in the game, but if you would immediately drop it to do anything else, you aren’t a gamer. but many people who are considered “gamers” by the broad definition include the people who only play games because they’re bored and there’s nothing better to do at the moment.“
