i just loved that there was an entire bar cart filled with liquor and THAT’S what he chose. never change, Vernon. never change.

So unexpected and creepy-funny! And how they just all knew to get in perfect position.

Gretchen: “Did you know there was an eclipse last night?”

Jimmy: “No. Who cares?”

Gretchen: “I don’t know...dipshits like (looks up and sees Vernon, Becca and Paul at a table)... Oh, shit! I conjured them!”

Hee.

The sex scene is also very much pulled straight from the Handmaid's Tale, down to Becca's red dress. Which elicited the biggest laugh of the episode at my house.

Two Righteous Individuals Performing Law Enforcement Directives Rapidly Against Gordon Our Nemesis.
TRIPLE DRAGON!

you really have a problem with Jimmy’s honesty... you know its actually healthy as most people prefer truth over gaslighting.

Aya Cash’s face for the 2020 Emmys. The scene where she breaks down in front of Rachel and the scene where she throws them out are masterclasses in frame-by-frame emotion shifts.

Gretchen intentionally sabotaging her and Jimmy’s potentially lifelong couple friendship in a matter of seconds was one of the most casually disturbing things I’ve seen on this show, and that’s saying a lot. Aya Cash really doesn’t get enough credit for her phenomenal portrayal of depression.

lindsay stumbling over after coming back to grab the bread from the table killed me

Not even a mention in the article of Drunk Amy dancing her heart out in the background when Holt reappears to save the day.

That’s where I’ve seen her from. I kept think “I know that cheery voice, but where from?”

Nicole Byer is a forking delight and it’s been so fun to have her on The Good Place and B99 this year.

Rosa laughing every time a firefighter dying by falling through the “pole hole” was referenced, was peak Rosa.

1. Only a C+, La Toya? I’d be hard pressed to give this episode anything lower than a B-. It proves that even a Brooklyn Nine-Nine that doesn’t rank with the series’ best is still pretty damn funny.

2. Joel McKinnon Miller has had little or no dialogue in the last couple of episodes. Is something going on with his

she certainly made out with randos, yes

Didn’t Gretchen get drunk and cheat on Jimmy in a bar like in the second episode?  the one where she’s interviewing the interns?

Vernon and Becca casually conning Paul out of his money and sperm with the false hope that they’ll give him a baby is on a whole other level of fucked-up. Really kinda makes the show earn its name.

I’m pretty sure it’s the minibar key. They make a point to show her pulling out the nonalcoholic beverages, locking the minibar, and then tossing keys out the window.

Like the one from the daily comic strip? I’m afraid he doesn’t. But this movie is sure to please J. Jonah Jameson as it is chockablock with PICTURES OF SPIDER-MAN.

Another thing I didn’t really have space to mention without making my review way too long: “THWIP” is actually in a line of dialogue at some point. <3 <3 <3
