I loved Holt’s rice-related phone call with Kevin. So businesslike, and then it ends with an I love you. It’s the kind of sweetness that makes Holt and Kevin’s marriage one of my favourite parts of the show.

So Jake’s discovery of the second notebook was completely illegal, right? It’s a good thing Dr. Tate held him at gunpoint, because the notebook would have been tossed, right? Is the entire arrest in jeopardy?

I actually thought Rosa’s new girlfriend WAS Tig Notaro until I went to twitter after the episode. 

I love the lampshading they do about old, forgotten plot points and storylines, like Terry reminding Jake that one time he had a gun to his head and had to write his own suicide note, and Jake laughingly blowing it off. “Oh yeah, I forgot about that!”
