Yeah, interesting that Minnesota is listed as friendly and not batshit-crazy.

That settles it. I'm moving to Estonia.

Entrapment is only when police force you to do something illegal that you didn't want to do. If you commit a crime voluntarily, it isn't entrapment.

So if railroad ties are also known as beams, then trains literally follow the path of the beam. I suppose there's a dark tower at the end of the line, somewhere.

Imagine what kind of disaster a one-key reboot would be. You're on a tight deadline, working late, and..... oops! The only problem with the Three Fingered Salute is that it can be hard for people who have physical difficulty using the keyboard. Yes, there is the Sticky Keys feature, but the command should still be

The Surface Pro is a cool machine, but I wish Microsoft would give up the RT, under any name. I think that's what sunk the first editions. If nothing else, this article contradicts those who often say that Gizmodo is just a shill for Apple.

Having updated to 7 on my phone and iPad the other day, I agree with you. It's slightly slower. And I'm disappointed that Air Drop isn't supported on my iPad 3, although I have 3rd-party apps for that. But I do like the shared streams of pictures & videos via iCloud. That's well done.

Once they started obsessing with whether Major Kyra was having a fling with the Bajoran priest and whether Odo was having family problems, it became unwatchable for me. Oh, and Avery Brooks deciding that he had to hiss most of his lines.

What? No mention of Larry Hagman? Major Anthony Nelson and J.R. Ewing!

Twins are used by magicians all the time for tricks like this. It was a cool presentation that was a modern update to what stage magicians do. What they showed at the end was exactly what I was expecting. Was still fun to watch, though.

Computers can beat you at Jeopardy, unless you happen to be Congressman Rush Holt. We're very proud of him, here in central Jersey.

The more you hear your recorded voice, the more you're comfortable with it. I make a lot of training videos, so to me, it's no big deal. But if you want to change the pitch of your voice and maybe add some echo or reverb (use both sparingly), there's always Adobe Audition.

Yesterday, Amazon warned users to update to the latest iOS Kindle app before updating to iOS 7. If you don't update Kindle first, you might have to re-register and download all your books, again.

I love the smell of melted Styrofoam in the morning.
