I’m actually feeling much better now. People have been really nice. Normally something like that wouldn’t bother me. But, today....eh.

It’s a really good group of ladies. The group is closed, if you can’t find it email me your fb info at I’ll invite you to the group. daisychainlinkfence at gmail

I’m all for more maxis with greater variety! I love how versatile they can be depending on how the top is cut. They can be dressy or beachy. They’re awesome.

Well, it also doesn’t claim to be feminist. They’re very careful to dance around that term. And I get that this was satire, it just wasn’t very well done. It came off as mean. I mean, I love dry wit and I can get pretty snarky. But, this just hit me the wrong way at the wrong time. Normally, I’m pretty good at not

YES! When I find a good cut I buy one of each color. We do that because we’re geniuses.

I love the 3/4 sleeves, but it’s so hard to find them! I also waist train and I like wearing my corset and belting my maxi. Best way to show off a small waist when you don’t want to show off anything else. :)

Hey lippie, sister! (Are you part of the support group on fb? They have some great info! Lipedema Sisters USA) I cannot wear my bandages (too hot) and I cannot afford the hose. I did some initial compression and my legs look so much better than they did a few years ago. So now I try to keep them elevated. I’m very

ME TOO! I mean, I really really feel like a princess. I have one dress that’s about 1 1/2 inches too long. Not so long that I really need to tailor it. Instead, I just hold my dress. Because I like feeling like a princess.

I think maxis look great on almost every body type. But I especially love that it disguises my disease really well. Most people don’t even notice I’m anything other than fat.

I think maxis look good on most people! They’re very forgiving and there’s a lot of different styles on the top part that can give you a lot of variety. I bet we both rock our maxis. :)

Honestly, I look like an entirely different person in my maxis and war paint. I sometimes have to wear really thick bandages around my legs and then I can’t wear pants. But maxis always have my back.

In all fairness, no one is exactly good at kinja-ing. :)

Also, washing a maxi out in the hotel sink is a lot easier than washing jeans out. And the dry time! Maxis ftw.

I’m not gonna lie. I have absolutely stepped on my dress more than once. I regularly hold them up so I can climb up steps or get into cars. That being said, I can totally pull them off. Yes, they make my legs sweat, too. But less so than pants.

I totally wear maternity maxis when I can find them long enough. They are comfy and cool. And yes! I feel pretty when I wear maxis. I feel like a fucking dragon-slaying pretty princess.

Wow. You sound like an important, dressy lady. I’m at best considered a code monkey. On weekends, I dress nicer because I’m around people or going places. So, it’s either maxis, or hiking clothes. I could cut my wardrobe down to 20 items and still have too much.

I wear a lot of yoga pants when I’m around the house. They’re the best for couch sitting AND working out. But if I want to look nice, maxis are my only go-to.

Maxis are my favorite article of clothing too. (Well, in fairness maybe it’s pushup bras) I feel a lot better.

Oh, I know exactly how your daughter feels. I used to wear cute dresses when I was little. But once my disease activated at puberty I couldn’t anymore. I went almost 20 years wearing clothes that didn’t fit and I hated until I found maxis that looked good and fit right. Now I can sew my own. The commenters have been

I do like them! And they fit my body which is important! I think I’m going to write an article about how maxis are the best and list all the reasons.
