Great overview of the hobby and fantastic weathering! Gives me a valid excuse to post a couple of my 1/43 cars and dioramas.

Reminds me of when I was stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany with my National Guard unit, back in 1996. We had use of a diesel olive drab VW van for “morale” activities so naturally we went out every chance we could.

I hate to be THAT GUY, but was the Jeep registered and dare I ask - inspected? Just curious!

Flying down the rails in New England:

SO MUCH SCREAMING!!! AARRGGHH! It’s been awhile since I’ve watched women’s tennis but the constant bellowing has been cranked up to 11.

There’s still a bunch of waste even while recreational fishing. During a recent striped bass tournament, between our boat and a friend’s, both filled with kids, we probably caught 200 bait fish, mostly mackerel and pollock. Some we used as chum or chunk-bait, others we fished live. End result was maybe 10 striped
