Everyone talked about how “my parents had a small car when I was growing up and it was fine!”... but would they have made that same choice if they were picking from today’s cars? We’ve raised two kids while mostly owning a small sedan (Honda Civic) and a couple SUVs (Honda Element and a CR-V). Not a shred of an iota

When did free will stop being a thing? If drivers are losing money on short trips, it’s their choice to keep making them. Unless somebody at Uber is riding shotgun with a literal shotgun pointed at their head.

Also, when the pitcher gives up soft contact like that, he didn’t “blow” anything. Wasn’t his fault the ball wasn’t hit hard enough for the fielder to be able to make a better play.

Guys! Guys! Guys!

.... and then we go back to people bitching and moaning even more loudly about games being decided on incorrect calls.

You’re completely wrong and you should be embarrassed with yourself. LeBron’s feet were not set and his body was still shifting. They got the call 100% right. Fifteen irrelevant paragraphs of writing because you’re dead fucking wrong in two sentences.

Dumuro needs to learn to edit. Every video of his seems to be 25 minutes long, but it’s really only five minutes of interesting content and 20 minutes of him trying to be goofy and funny.

Comes across as a total asshole in this interview. He’s gone from being snarky but (seemingly) basically good-natured to just being insufferable. And honestly, there really hasn’t been that much of his work that I’ve particularly enjoyed in recent years - a few essays, but there’s been a lot more stuff that’s been

If you can’t call kids “little dude” or “El Duderino,” then what’s the point?

I’ve watched enough basketball for enough years to know... rhythm is a thing. The one-in-ten thousand or one-in-two hundred thousand probability of going 0-27 is nonsense because each individual shot is not truly independent of the shots before and the shots after. It’s still massively improbable, but tired legs

... apparently, what I was proposing exists.

Uh... “You’re hitting your stride,” perhaps?

Be fair, Lauren’s pretty new to watching basketball. Her analysis of the ‘Tics wasn’t much better.

You know, I can burp on command, but THIS is fucking impressive.

To be fair, IT’s been terrible mostly because of the injury, which is why it was so smart for Danny to trade him when he did (and before his wanting to get paid became a real issue). And Crowder was pretty good for about a year, but he spent plenty of time being mediocre in Boston as well.

Barbershop seems like it’d be an absolutely terrific front for money laundering. Cash business, and no one’s suspicious of folks being in and out of the place all day. Also, my barber’s a junkie who occasionally gets tipped with weed.

It’s a mashup of “Cars” and the humans from “Wall-E.”

How is this not grounds for a dishonorable discharge?

You guys are like, seriously running out of content, aren’t you? This is just like... a used car. Kind of a neat car, probably pretty fun to drive, but it’s just a used car. I live in the middle of nowhere, and there’s a half-dozen Fiesta STs of similar vintage within a couple hours.

You’re not a rookie, Ben - you’ve got to be able to make a shot!
