I’d like to suggest an inventory:

What moments in movies you know intellectually are bad, silly, stupid or in some way inferior still give you goosebumps?

My suggestions:
* When Kong leaps off the building momentarily to swat the plane in this movie
* When the robot (and Hugh Jackman) does the spinning jump punch in “Real

Boy, that accent really comes and goes doesn’t it?

Specifically, it comes during witty entrance lines and goes when there is needed exposition.

Sir, this is a Wendy’s, not your misogyny therapy session.

It was a good movie and he was excellent, but I have absolutely no desire to watch it again. National Treasure is very rewatchable.

Counterpoint: The National Treasure movies are the only Nicolas Cage vehicles that have held up over the years and these were also the last tolerable Jon Voight performance.

This. Is. A. Good. Thing.

Pay. No. Mind. To. The. Scolds. Who. Hate. Joy.

Connie Nielsen should have been more of a thing.

Well, Berenger is 71 years old and has been in Hollywood for 45 years. A quick Google search doesn’t reveal any land mines, but at this point, I’m making no positive or negative assumptions on personal creepiness.

I think Berenger’s a good actor who has been in a lot of movies I enjoy. That’s about the extent of my

My first thought was Baldwin as well. My own prejudice is that I think Berenger is a good actor and wouldn’t have evoked that reaction in Stone.

When Civil War starts, we know that Stark is covering all of their living expenses so the only bills they would have had were outside recreation or family obligations. He may have given them walking-around money for that.

And, like quite a few celebrities, they may have preferred to stay in quite a bit.

We really must not be doing the violence against women bad thing any longer.

“Not that every rape is a silver lining...”

In case you were wondering where you really started to suck, this might be the place.

Yeah, and if she wasn’t wearing that short skirt, she wouldn’t have gotten raped, right?

So we aren’t doing the violence against women is bad thing any more, huh?

So, they used violence against Asian-Americans as a shield to protect them from their backbiting snark about how someone got promoted too early?

Yeah, OK. Everyone is safer today.

A male athlete twice her size threatens her with violence. She objects and his fans target her and dig up stuff from 10 years ago?

Tell me again how any of this makes women, black women, Asian women, or Asians in general safer?

Because it sure looks to me like this was started by a man making a joke about violence and

Well, I had one opinion, but the guy who played Voldemort and James Bond’s new boss had a different one, so I must change mine now.

I mean, do we really think he’s an influencer?

Stop it. My penis can only get so erect
