Yep, didnt mean to imply they were new.. Just meant to say they were (relatively) cheap to fly compared to the jets of the era, and did there job well. Aside from that, they were dam scary looking. :)

Not a expert, but I think the F-16 fell into that category as well. While not as bad as a F-117 or B-2, it was still not going to fly it’s self without the aid of computers.
Not so much inflation (although a big part of it), but also you cant compare a late model F-16 to a F-16A from the early 80's. It’s almost a totally different plane with with lots of neat new toys, which drive up the cost.

Where did he say that there will not be anyone else? I’ve seen him say 2 tourists, but i’ve never seen him explicitly say no one else.
Perhaps they wont be alone? Dragon last I checked can hold 7 people in it. They may not fly 7, but whats to say they dont put 2 or 3 other trained astronauts on the mission? Or atleast people more trained then the tourists.

Agreed.. This whole thing strikes me as the same issue with people who stand to wipe versus people that sit to wipe. We never knew each other existed.
I understand that.. but my impression was that VoLTE was not being readily adopted. I can understand why, VoLTE is going to require a ton of new equipment for little tangible gain, voice is voice.. I can see eventually that GSM / CDMA equipment hitting End of Support and moving to VoX at that point though.
