Me neither, until now! It’s a sketch from That Mitchell and Webb Look. I don’t think I ever saw something else from them shared so it might be their greatest contribution to pop culture, at least on the web?

For your reading pleasure, Steven Bannon, current senior advisor to the POTUS:

Really makes me want to punch Bernie and his die hards in the mouth. Those fuckers gave us this because they couldn’t handle a woman being in charge. Pathetic, pathetic little man.

Now playing

Let’s say you already disproved yourself.

Racism is as much a structural feature as it is one person’s feelings. Trump doesn’t have to intend it. The policy change is racist in effect i.e., it disproportionately affects people of color.

India claims to have developed fusion weapons, but their only claimed hydrogen bomb test, called Shakti 1, only yielded about 45kt which is well within the range of a conventional fission weapon. It is possible that the secondary fusion stage in Shakti 1 failed to ignite at all, or fizzled, or that it was just another

Darth Vader is a tortured masochist. Of course he’s going to put his castle on the lava planet where his best friend dismembered him.

Would it surprise you to learn that fission weapons are not that difficult to design and build? The prohibitive factor for most nations is the obtainment of large quantities of fissile material and refining it to weapons grade. North Korea has a research reactor that produces quantities of plutonium-239 as a waste

Honestly, this is against US competition law. They should have been dinged by federal regulators but instead they are suing to preserve an illegal tying arrangement.

It fing ridiculous.

And, don’t forget the ones where you need all the color cartridges just to print in black & white, because the printer blends cyan, magenta, and yellow in with the black to create ... black.

Beyond the questions of “Who pays for it?” and “Who gets elected to pass a law in America that gives money to able-bodied people because the workforce has no need for their services indefinitely, when it’s difficult enough to convince people that people like that shouldn’t just kill themselves out of shame?” Where

Valkyre wasn’t so bad.

There is a perfect scene in one of the new EU books “Lost Stars” in which one of main characters Ciena Ree is an imperial pilot. And her part of the story is told from the imperial perspective. Even more interesting, one of her Academy peers ends on Death Star (and dies there). Ree’s POV of Rebels as terrorists is

No matter how I try, I’m always rooting for the Empire.

Never forget.

I’m glad someone made this point. I remember talking with people after TE2 and that was always something that came up. How we loved the movie but can you imagine a whole movie set in the future? Setting up the timeline of the movies by working through John Connor & company fighting against Skynet would have been

This is the correct taek.

It looks as though they are trying to figure out how to efficiently seperate hydrogen bonded molecules using sunlight. This light array seems to give them more precise control over the experiments. If they figure out an effective of achieving this they will eventually use sunlight to do it.
