I've got a decent amount of experience working on rusty crap cans and I've got to suggest an impact gun of some type. An impact gun will rarely twist off a bolt (When trying to loosen), whereas a breaker bar is more likely to leave you with a bolt in two pieces.

Factory jacks are not made for constant usage. I've heard of VW guys using theirs so much that they fail. Also, I would never get under my car with only one of those supporting it.

There is a place for each, but tools for the most part do have their peak current draw plastered on them instead of power. The thing is, if the voltage drops then the current will increase, resulting in the power rating being more accurate.
