If you are a young homeowning couple in southern California, within 25 miles of the coast you aren’t going to qualify for anything. You could be upside-down with your loan, owe tons of money, having next to nothing in the fridge, or bank- but if you made enough to buy a 3 bedroom 1 bath house for 750K (that’s cheap

Can I please just get a non-dairy option for all of the fast foot iced coffees, and hot coffee lattes? I’m looking at you McDonalds. Even just a single option: oat milk is fine.

I Will Eat The Shit Out Of Both Of These Options. Heck I might go three days a week.

LOVE IT. I also love my grilled cheese with jam or jelly- different cheeses and different flavors makes for tasty combinations. If the thought of raspberry jam with mozzarella sticks trips you out, try pepper jelly.

Hot Dog on a stick is criminally underrated. I love that they have a cheese on a stick and a vegan dog on a stick, but the best part of their menu is that lemonade. So good!

A few other steps to consider:

I agree with almost all of these, with just one exception: cherry cordials.

This is a In-N-Out fries are good hot-take. I’ve never met anyone who likes Hunt’s more unless it’s cheaper to buy. I mean it’s your palate and you’re allowed to like anything you want, but you’re on an island for sure.

I ate one of these last week and it was AMAZING. I almost drove back and ordered another one. It was just perfect. AND it’s 400 calories less... I know, I know, but it’s a nice bonus.

    • I highly recommend Venture Maidens especially the most current campaign. It’s so good.

Pumpkin Fairy: Kids are allowed to keep a certain amount of candy that changes as they get older. The rest of the haul is put outside their door. At night the Pumpkin Fairy takes the candy and leaves a few presents and books. Our kids loved it every year. My spouse loved the extra stash of candy.

Does anyone else ever have an issue with vegan butters where when you cook with them you get a weird fish smell. It doesn’t always happen with every tub, but when it does it makes me want to throw the rest of the tub out.

I like this show, but how does anyone think that an axe wrapped up feels anything like a sword with a hilt wrapped up? Arondir would have recognized a replacement in a split second...

    My two favorite uses:

Here on the west coast Japanese potato salad is a big hit. It’s got all sorts of color and texture due to the fresh veggies added, and of course it’s got that great Kewpie mayo.

Del Taco: Breakfast Bacon and Egg Quesadilla. It’s no longer on the menu, but it’s easy to have them make during breakfast hours: Order a cheese quesadilla then have them add egg, then add bacon- it comes with their great green sauce. It’s hands-down my favorite breakfast item from any fast food chain.

    1. Any Maple Old-Fashioned. I love how the crags collect the frosting. I love how you can snap off the sections of the outer ring and then eat the inner ring. So good!

    • Big coffee mugs, re-filled as needed

You can still get the “Bell Beefer” you just need to go to Southern California. If you go to any of the Del Taco’s you can ask for a Bun Taco. You can even go to the place where the Bun Taco was made famous: Naugles. There are a few Naugles running and you can try their Bun Taco too.

You want tradables and comfort: hard booze, chocolates, cigs. Trust me people are going to want/crave all three.
