I watched the H3 content court episode about Adin Ross and he comes across as the kind of people who doesn’t have real friends, just people he associates with and find useful.

That would be stupid “fail safe”. Retreiving or launching your boat on your boatramp? Sorry, there is weight pulling the car backwards, so we will just kill the motors.

Interesting that we’ve seen videos of tug-o-wars with Rivians, F150s Lightnings and Hummer EVs without this issue occurring.

Except, no, because it’s not like a transmission switching between forward and reverse.  Electricity doesn’t care if the load is caused by having to pull an object, versus having to go up a steep hill.  Load is load.

I certainly hope so.  The first was a rough-around-the-edges diamond.  While I grateful the sequel exists, I want it to do well enough so we don’t have to wait another decade for part 3.

Multiplayer would ruin it.

i hope so, i loved the original and the expansion, so im hoping this is the one to get people to appreciate it. ill tell you one thing. a lot of games have wimpy effects for mages. this is not that kind of game, you bring apocalyptic levels of destruction with the maelstorm spell(a localized tornado), and it looks

My most anticipated game of the year and 2024 is packed to the brim with solid games. I’m also not pre-ordering my most anticipated game of the year unless Steam’s services are guaranteed to shut down on this game’s release - which is unlikely. They’re masterworks all, you can’t go wrong.

The first Dragon’s Dogma is

I have literally seen a brodozer driving dickless wonder swerve into the opposing lane to intentionally run over a protected gopher tortoise here.

The “no seatbelt” one, I’d most often heard as “I won’t wear as seatbelt, because if my car goes underwater I’ll be trapped and drowned.”

My sister’s driving record when she drove a manual says that driver’s of manual cars don’t have to pay any more attention to the road or their surroundings than any other driver. Also used to have a coworker who texted while commuting in a manual.

I would argue that Apocalypse was the career-staller. I believe that nobody could have done well in that role as given. At least Poe Dameron was still a showcase for his natural charisma.

Sure, every community has vocal assholes, but it seems like “gamers” have taken that reality as a challenge and then went the wrong way with it. “Every community has assholes? Well then we’ll win by having the most, biggest, worst assholes! Assholes that shit on everything! We’ll win at assholes!”

All I needed to read:

Billionaires have been expressing a lot of favor toward the GOP/Trump this year. They have been increasingly power-hungry and know Trump will give them more of it.

Trump is also a known criminal and they also know the rule of law doesn’t apply to any of them, let alone federal standards. Let that sink in.

Funny, I was thinking “Because Elon wants it” was a great reason to not vote for Republicans this November.

re. “new actors playing familiar heroes”, I think the main thing the MCU’s had going for it has been that they’ve resisted the temptation to reboot, even with the multiverse in play.

Just recast Kang. We’ve already seen that he can take many forms as seen in the Council of Kangs scene.

I think Dune Messiah has been confirmed.

That said, I authentically didn’t enjoy Dune Messiah. The first 70% of that book is just everyone being suspicious of everyone all the time over and over and over. 99% of the plot happens in the last 30%.

Duke Leto also spells it out for Paul that the great houses look to the Atreides for leadership, and that this threatens the emperor, so the stage has been set for a war.
