This is probably the most iconic intro sequence in any sonic game.

of course you can. But you also have to do something to show you are against war and violence. If you do nothing to promote that point of view and also do things that are directly contrary to it, then people are going to wonder if you’re lying.

No, but you can’t just say you’re a contentious objecter either. You have to demonstrate it. Historically in America, that means showing at least some kind of affiliation with a society or cause that has firmly stated anti-war belief. S. I often wondered that myself, but I feel like he stays in games, because he wishes to tell stories in which his audience gets to control the characters. That’s why he keeps talking about “new and interactive experiences”. Movies and shows are too restrictive to the stories he intends on telling.

Kojima is weird af! I’ll give him props though for taking chances. He comes up with the weirdest shit! Like a device that’s a pair of hands around your neck that assist you or the Guitar Gun/Sword. Where does he come up with this stuff? It’s fascinating science fiction.
