The simple solution is to fine pedestrians for crossing when they don’t have the crossing light. Walk lights trigger when the light goes for the same direction of traffic is flowing. Right on red shouldn’t really affect pedestrians unless they are choosing to ignore walk lights as the flow of pedestrians should be

I hope they dip into the whole weird plot ideas they never implemented in the first game. Like visting the Moon which was where the Everfall was supposed to be. I also hope they have something like Bitterblack Isle in the base game. Wondering if there will be anything carried over from the first game with the pawns

Elon sees himself as the head of a MegaCorp. I mean that’s fundamentally the pseudo-libertarian mindset of techbros. The want to deregulate/minimize the government specifically to allow thier companies to rule the land like kings of old. “Liberty for me, not for thee”

Honestly the Rick voice would be fairly easy to have a sound alike but for Morty they should just get a deeper voice and say he’s a late bloomer for puberty.

I was pleasantly surprised by Christopher Judge - Teal’C from Stargate SG-1 - being so good as Kratos in the God of War games.

This is a thing my coworker and I bring up all the time. Not every screen actor is serviceable as a voice actor. MoCap can help for some of them but many just don’t have gravitas with just thier voice. The recent Babylon 5 The Road Home is a good example of that. Most of the surviving actors came back to voice thier

Have they ditched thermal management? That was always my least favorite aspect of later games, they never seem to balanced it right in my opinion.

I see you, you old veteran. I too, hail from Raven’s Nest.

I never played Alan Wake myself but the AWE expansion helped give me an idea about what’s going on with him and his “power”. My current hypothesis about Alan Wake’s influence over the plot of Control is a lot like The Neverending Story.

Twisted Metal doing the battle-royale thing that is popular these days would be a good way forward.

Rogan and Right-wing chuds have a synergy. He speaks to them in a way they understand, and in turn drives them to people he has on who would otherwise be too intellectual to draw thier attention. It’s like they Hindenburg, the hydrogen gas or the aluminum oxide paint alone would be enough to cause the tragedy but when

It would be more tabletop if this was the way the players were getting around a door that they assumed was locked but never actually checked.

Peter Jackson was known to me as the guy who made Bad Taste and Dead-Alive. Given that most of the people I knew at the time who were excited for Lord of the Rings movies were all massively apprehensive because it was Peter Jackson, purveyor of trash films.

Honestly If you cut out everything before Scariff people would praise the movie just the same. It was entirely carried by the climatic set piece to the point it can overshadow the previous hour and change of movie. I think that is fundamentally the issue with this whole conversation. Rogue One fundamentally justifies

“Fans” of a property usually aren’t the best for writing/producing/directing it. They come at the production as a fan and not as much of a production of film/tv/games. It’s all filtered through thier own lens of fandom. I think that is part of the problem with both Star franchises, the “fans” make something that works

Nine-Ball. It was always Nine-Ball. I beat Nine-Ball Seraph the first time i fought him in Masters of Arena, I thought he was a pushover. Subsequent play throughs really highlight how lucky I way because damn he fast.

I agree with you. ME 2's final act was a wholly unsatisfying slog, the railroading of who to choose for what really disrupted the playstyle flow of the game.  Arrival was a much better cliffhanger/segue into ME3

Even before the extended cut there were a lot of elements of the story that could only be picked up by eavesdropping on conversations, reading emails, talking to folk, and listening to what was broadcast on the citadel news network. I mean, understanding the starchild’s sudden appearance makes a heck of a lot more

It also ran off of the Aurora engine, which was modified for the first Witcher game from 2007, which came off the heels of Neverwinter Nights 2 from 2006. So DAO had a strong CRPG lineage. I’ve only play DAO on Xbox but I’ve heard the PC can provide options to give a more traditional CRPG experience.

DAO was the swansong of early 2000s CRPG’s, with the console version being more tailored towards the action rpg experience that dominated the 2010's.
