If you have 4 Elkies and a boat, I can’t think what other vehicle you would need. Dude is living the dream.

I’m seeing that, combined with EV-9D9:

Now playing

I suspect that a lot of the impulse to add words to songs comes partly from the simple desire of singers to do these songs too. Adding words to what are originally instrumental songs is called “vocalese” and it’s been around for about as long as jazz has. Jazz is such a referential/conversational genre that it’s

Came here to make this same correction, but you beat me to it. Jazz pedants of the world unite!

Read the headline first as “brain simulation”. I figured they didn’t want people simulating brains because of the ethical implications. It did seem just a tad premature given our current level of brain simulation.

The Midget II caught my eye for sure. If I have learned anything from Gran Turismo, it is that a properly upgraded Midget II can be a remarkably potent vehicle on technical courses against vastly higher-powered opponents.

Welp, time to load up the kiddos in the Roadmaster and go have a little fun.

Not judging at all. I’ll probably buy it too. Where/how did you purchase it? Most of my music comes from Amazon, but the whole album isn’t available to purchase in from US Amazon yet and I didn’t feel like creating a whole new account and spending the conversion markup to buy it from Amazon.co.uk.

I would love to be able to say that I owned a Reliant Kitten Estate. I’m not sure if I would fit in one in any useful fashion, but I sure would like to own one.

The one and only time I’ve ever been nominally “in control” of a horse was on a trail ride on my honeymoon.

I really should add one to my Corvette-focused diecast collection.

Say what you will about the later C3's, but that is a damn fine looking vehicle.

I can’t begin to tell you how many of the right buttons that wagon pushes.

I’m a Corvette fanboy. That is probably the ugliest production Corvette. First time I saw one, the Corvette recognition center in my brain was lighting up in a positive fashion, while the rest of my brain was all “Kill it with fire!” It was a confusing experience.

My first car was a ‘92 Accord wagon with the 5-speed. Great car and I loved that transmission. The clutch was very grabby which took some getting used to (it was my first 3-pedal experience as well), but it definitely had that “sporty” feel. It was also good having the 5-speed when hauling all my worldly goods over

Fair enough in that case. Everyday wearing to school socks, though?

Middle school logic right there.

I’m pretty sure I read a peer-reviewed piece about how middle school boys have no fashion sense. I know I didn’t at that age (not that I do now, but I’m a dad, so it’s okay).
