the carcinogenicity is pretty low at the volumes you encounter it day to day. 11% is pretty fecking high, mind you, but it goes into a lot of industrial processes and it’s not really a thing to flip out about unless you want to food babe it.

Well California has been a great advocate and regulatory force for formaldehyde-free products, the manufacturers just follow the standards of California for products all over the country.
