I’m Welsh and I’ve yet to stop grinning you probably don’t want to talk to me.

There are reasonable points to be made about added sugar in products where you really wouldn’t expect it this is not one of those moments this is a well duh moment.

Three cheers for you and I sincerely hope you’re right. I’d be interested in where you feel the rot started from an inside point of view because the Republican party wasn’t always full of people this drivellingly insane.

The system isn’t even close to perfect but if we don’t get in there and vote we’re definitely not going to change it.

Always a good reference :) Any system in which people run unopposed can no longer call itself a democracy.

The floors open for better ideas?

I think you’re over simplifying a bit but I would absolutely agree with your general point. Liberal turnout in elections is appalling and, if we’re going to generalise, we have a bad habit of sitting on the sidelines and carping which really needs to stop.

Excellent, bring on the thunderbolts! I’m perfectly happy to sacrifice something if you think it would help.

Your Grace is too kind ;)

I learnt to dive in Egypt and one of the best moments in my life is a turtle coming and swimming along right next to me for a while. Anyone who thinks that’s a moment for a joyride is even more of a deficent human being than me and on a bad day I’m pretty damn deficent.

It is, and if we could sort out that and cognitive dissonance we’d live in a much saner world. Unfortunately I’m all out of ideas.

Interesting thanks. It is dispiriting when lunatics incorporated are trying their hardest to screw with you I absolutely get that however your relatives experiment proves we can make a difference. If we let the nut jobs convince us that we’re stuffed anyway (and god knows I understand the temptation to throw your

All the best people do ;)

We have the same problem here the turn out for local elections, which arguably have a greater effect on peoples everyday lives, is pitiful. So if we’re going to fix the crazy the solution (or at least part of it) has to be kicking people into the voting booths not just bitching on the sidelines but I am damned if I

It absolutely is yes, so should the focus of the sane be the education system? I’m a little fuzzy on the American system for these things but you have electable positions in local school systems don’t you? If people are irretrievably indoctrinated by election age the solution has to involve presenting options earlier.

Because I am now and always a Discworld geek,

I think that’s the heart of the matter, the sad fact is that these people are in a position to screw everyone over because in a democratic election they were voted into office. Frightening lunatics with a desire to screw women over turn out in elections much more frequently than sensible people do that has to be the

‘the same wrong information presented in a room full of people who believe it can actually be quite compelling.’

Sometimes not wearing it is the smart choice, today I have been wearing a really unfortunate midi skirt because god damn i bought it and there must be some way to wear it that doesn’t make me look like a dipstick.

I suppose it’s impossible to come to a definitive conclusion without some sort of mind reading equipment and I really don’t want to see the inside of these guys heads! I think you’re right in that protecting their image and name is primary but I’m not sure they really visualise these batshit rules affecting them
