Don’t need sunroof. Also eats headroom inside, and probably does something to the structural integrity of the car (or, if other stuff in place to help for it, adds weight)

I currently drive an F80 M3, and may need something bigger in the next couple of years. A manual is a requirement for me or I’ll just get an EV like a Model S. The Germans don’t offer a big sports sedan with a stick. This would seem to fulfill a niche if GM’s willing to accept that’s it’s going to be a low volume…

They barely marketed the Cadillac as having a manual option. The Buick Regal GS was low-key a good car which could be had with a manual, but GM can’t market shit, except their trucks. So the manual Cadillac is probably going to be the same case as the manual Buick Regal. 

Already did that when I bought my E39 M5. Still have it, and waiting on something that can truly replace it. Can’t say if Cadillac will be the one to replace my M5 or not. So far, nothing else out there compares to the E39 M5.

While I agree in general, I think most people loved the current M2. I havent heard too many people claim it was bloated.
