Vladimir Putin, an incompetent gangster insecure over the functioning of his dick

Gas prices very closely mirror oil prices. Sure, there is some lag, but a drop in oil prices overnight wont cause the gas station to lower their price similarly that very same morning.

I’m buying so hard into my investment portfolio today. Buy the dip, sell the tip.

What... no inward facing jump seats??

Rear-facing is better. That way, your children can SEE irresponsible, texting drivers nearly plow into them. This repetitive exposure to their own mortality at a young age frees them from their basest fears, allowing them to truly become their best selves.

The whole point of this article was to say how hard it is to do just what you just asked for.

You and me both. I have a brand new Corolla hatch manual right now and I’ve only used the back seats three times in 5 months. I’d go smaller for this in a heartbeat. This is what I wish my Corolla was.

I have never done this ever, but if Toyota announces that they will bring this exact car (not a Corolla with a fake carbon fiber wing) to the US, I will drive to my local dealer and put an order/deposit down for one. I know they would probably only sell dozens of these nationwide, but all I really want is a street

I don’t get why logos are “due for updates” anyway. Unless there’s a fundamental shift in the business that muddles the logo’s message or they used some very period-specific styling in the first place, there’s no need to change something that currently works. It only makes sense when there’s a functional issue to be

This platform will underpin new cars from Pontiac AND Saturn!

The blandness. They are just utilitarian boxes. Good ones just not interesting or exciting. They are perfect automotive camouflage. I enjoy driving and I just don’t see traversing a mud hole or performing a Scandinavian flick on an icy corner in these.

Agreed - People love this dull, soulless rubbish. I can’t imagine why anyone would part with cash for either of these unless they gave zero fucks about enjoying driving. The white goods of the automotive world; both the Rav-4 and CR-V.

Neither, I rather not fall asleep driving.

I’ll be standing on my front Porsche screaming from my soap Boxster about how good of a deal this is

Seriously, comparing this to your Buick. VW has had versions of the 2.0T that have exceeded that number for years (Golf R) but they are going more for economy and reliability here). And touch screens are certainly more reliable and cheaper than a network of switches and buttons.  Replacing is likely a single wiring

I mean... if a swastika had five spokes, sure.

He’s using the best selling vehicle on the planet as an example, the point is valid. An x5 would outsell any EV BMW put out right now at probably some gaudy ridiculous number to 1, improving emissions on that x5 would also cost a fraction of what it would cost to build an as yet non-existent comparable EV.

Because ICE is still a much larger piece of the pie. If Ford increased the efficiency of its F150 by 1mpg, that would have a bigger effect than making every single one of its Ecosports plug-in.

You’re all wrong.
