That is absolutely the most obscure car fact I will learn this month!

I just realized that Vanilla Ice sounds like the “kid” in the PSP commercial.

What’s weird or bizarre about that video? Some singing and dancing, basically the same formula as every single music video ever made.

There’s only one right answer to this question, and it’s an Isetta with Dave Gahan behind the wheel

There aren’t.

In the San Francisco area, one Supercharger is in a basement garage on the edge of the Presidio with no shops nearby, and a door that locks behind you so you can’t get back in the way you came out. And you have to pay $5 every 30 minutes for parking.

Future Katherine Legges in the making!

Question for the import geniuses in the room: could you import a newer-than-25-year-old car without a drivetrain, electrify it this way, and register it legally in the US?

I’ve had a Karmann Ghia on the brain for a couple months now, but figured I’d need to do a Subie swap to really enjoy it. This could be a much better option.

My second car was the same as my first, but without all the stupidity.

High mileage, and you’re going to have to spend a bunch of money getting rid of the vape shop exhaust and putting the suspension back to normal. Not to mention that the mods involved are basically a neon sign saying “this car has been beaten.”

Yeah, maybe stop that then :)

And bring the global Yaris to America, Toyota.

I will never understand the logic behind designing a brilliant, versatile concept that would sell like hotcakes, then saying “we’re not doing that, here’s a goofy embarrassment nobody wants to be seen in, that’s the one we’re really selling.”

I’ve never heard the words “Citroën SM” and “cheap” go together. Do tell…

I guess that’s my point—I don’t see how the Navigator is comparable to an S-class. Is it actually a better vehicle in any way than a Palisade?

Serious question: what makes the Lincoln Navigator $70,000 better than a Hyundai Palisade?

Counterpoint:

I’m driving a Model S right now, and the infotainment & electronics are some of the worst I’ve ever seen on a modern car. Absolute usability disaster, and not particularly reliable.

Coming from Volvo, I expect it to be a much more refined car than a Tesla, and a better choice to actually live with for several years.
