During the dot-com crash of the early 2000s, I was commuting from NYC to Kissimmee, Florida because the only job I could find was as a contractor for Disney. They flew me down every Monday, and home every Friday.

It’s so beautiful, as if Citroën designed a Nissan.
“Best” for me would be the Austin FX4, because the doors could be reached from the front seat, allowing the cab driver to open a passenger’s door without getting out of the driver’s seat.
Should you ever use the defense “that word was totally normal in apartheid South Africa where I grew up?”
Are suicide doors really so expensive to implement?

Yeah, how dare he (checks notes) drive a car around a track without saying anything
Either way, it’s ginormous :)
I know we’re not supposed to compare the 992 Speedster with the 356 Speedster, but that photo of just how tiny a human looks inside the new behemoth sure does make me wistful for the lost era of simple, fun cars.
Why is Mack Hogan
Canada is an American country.
I just want it to get progressively taller and boxier until we have the Civic Wagon back as a Fit
Anything that kills that hideous video game dashboard is a good thing. I know the future of cars is staring at a glowing white rectangle of social media feeds and meaningless “data” forever, but I’ll take anything that delays that dystopia by any amount of time at all.
Is it just me, or does the article contain no information about what platform this game is on, or where to find it?
I think I know where I’ve heard this before
Pretty much any of them, except Tesla.
Tesla could set a six-minute flat time and it wouldn’t change the fact that Elon Musk is a massive asshole that I’d never give a dime to.
For context, Tesla took an (allegedly) stripped-down racecar version of their road car modded for speeds that their production vehicles aren’t capable of, and still only managed to set an unofficial, unproven time that is slower than a C6 Corvette did eight years ago.
Yeah, he did.
