I literally made a snack and settled in to watch a James May video, based on the headline.

Why stop at just 2+2?

A hotel room costs around $250-$300 per night. They can’t use any of that money to clean the room?

Tip your waiter, the valet, and your bartender.

NPoCP wants to know—how much did you pay for it?

So the governor and governor-elect of California just stood on a platform next to that bloated sausage roll and let him have a platform to spew his bullshit?

So all I have to do is spend $400 on a dishwasher, then convince my landlord to let me install it in my tiny kitchen, give up some of the little storage space I have, and try to do it myself or pay someone even more money to do it for me?

Was hoping to find something like “originally they were going to be all the colors of the rainbow, but the great Color Shortage of World War One put a stop to that”

Sports.

It was my first time driving a RHD manual, but turned out to be as natural as LHD. You forget all about being on the “wrong” side pretty quickly.

So much. Even at 6' 2", I fit in it comfortably for a weekend road trip. It’s more fun at 40 mph than most cars are at 100.

It’s a great road trip. I wasn’t sure whether I’d enjoy driving on the left side of the road, or dealing with Japanese traffic, but it was great. Even city driving is easy if you’re used to places like NYC or LA, but the real fun is once you get into the beautiful countryside.

I think it’s a local nationalist group, actually. From what I understand, there’s a fringe group of right-wing nationalists that are always on the outskirts of politics. I don’t really know anything about them, but the bus deserved a photo.

Yup! (I just added a few photos I found from our last trip)

I rented a Honda S660 from Omoren, and it was a great experience. They’re very used to dealing with foreigners, so they were able to help us easily. And of course, the S660 is an experience you really have to have on the winding country roads of rural Japan.

With any of these scooters, I’d be reluctant to spend $500-$1000 on something so easily stolen.

I don’t hate it.

So, Twitter suspended the account of the person who pointed out all the shenanigans.

Good insight, I didn’t know about that.

Nope. It’s still $59.99.
