Was that pony named Imogen?

Only in the strictly legal sense.

Well, at least you got to be part of it. For some reason I passed up the opportunity to attend an Olympics in my city. Did make it into the park for the Paralympics though, which was still pretty great. If only Londoners could be that happy and friendly all the time!

South Africa hosted the FIFA World Cup, to very similar effect… lots of crumbling ghost stadiums left from that one.

The 2012 Olympics may have been a huge money sink, but at least most of the venues are still in use afterward, so there has been at least some 'legacy'. More than in Rio or Athens, anyway.

It's not true that 'white suburban households can own 10 guns per household with no real issues' though, is it? White suburban folks do shoot themselves with handguns, or occasionally each other. Sure, there's less gun crime in those areas, but there's also less crime in general. But the presence of guns still makes

Now now, Britain has apologised for Piers Morgan on multiple occasions…

It seems to me that 'personal friends with Piers Morgan' is the biggest anti-recommendation there is. He's like a magnet that attaches himself only to terrible people.

I'm honestly surprised Bill isn't in favour of the Muslim ban. It seems like something he'd support.

It seems to me this is a classic 'it can be two things' point.

Wasn't that what Snyder's version was all about already? I didn't see it, but I understand he went in heavy on the daddy issues.

And the puppet Yoda still looks better than the CGI version from 20 years later.

But, you know, the Super Bowl and Olympics are televised and Hamilton isn't. It's perfectly logical not to be a fan of something you can't (easily, legally) physically watch.

Judging from his TV shows (particuarly Extras), he has plenty of compassion for people, it's his characters who don't.

Likewise. Work is my refuge from the madness of the world; it's nice to be able to tune things out and just focus on what's in front of me for eight hours. My colleagues very rarely discuss politics or the news, and that's just how I like it.

I assume it would be possible to simply pay Trump to quit. He's quite clearly biddable for the right price. Let's start a crowdfund.

You know, I always heard that line as 'crap juice' (?) and it still seemed the healthier choice.

We can't blame the Mormons for EL James, unfortunately.

I can give Fifty Shades slightly more of a pass than Twilight because it's obviously supposed to be someone's idea of a hot BDSM fantasy, rather than A Great Love Story for the Ages. But like Twilight, a disturbingly large number of people seem to take it as some sort of guide to real-life relationships…

Also, trying to make a kinky sex fantasy but being unable to show anything remotely kinky or sexy.
