Judging by your comments here so far, she made the right decision.

Maybe it would be safest to intern all anime fans, just to be sure. That's what Trump would do.

I'm pretty sure the racism and misogyny were still there 30-40 years ago…

Minority Report the film is one of the rare cases where 'the ending was all a dream' makes total sense as an interpretation - at least as much as the one which is the subject of the article above. I prefer to assume that was intended, rather than taking Spielberg's 'happy precogs' ending literally.

Likewise. I was 12 when The Matrix came out, so that was my T2. But I'd already seen T2 on video and loved it. Both are probably slightly less good than I remember, but still tremendously fun movies.

From Russia With Love is on the list, so it was one of the last films he watched, just not the very last.

Huh, I remember reading that From Russia With Love was the last film JFK saw, which is nice because it was put into production specifically because he'd named the novel as one of his favourite books. So much for that factoid.

Yeah, but it looked dumb and boring from the shots and trailer (heck, from the premise). I don't know why anyone expected it to be anything else.

I find it hard to imagine how anyone being held prisoner could be 'literally too dangerous to be alive'. We don't live in a comic book world. A hypothetical captured Hitler could not have pulled the stunt the Joker did to break out of prison in The Dark Knight. If not executed, he would have just grown older and died

"most millenials such as myself are more familiar with Death Eaters than Nazis"
That's got to be one of the sadder sentences I've read in a while. And I'm a millennial myself.

Or better yet, shut off @realDonaldTrump.

I kind of agree, but it's difficult to take Trump seriously when he doesn't take himself (or the Presidency, or America) seriously.

He is a cartoon, though.

" Cuck can and should be used in situations where a person is unaware
that their devotion of time/resources to something benefit others"
Whatever happened to the good old phrase 'useful idiot'?

Is the Internet really worth saving? Really?

What depressed me is when I realised Trump will (probably) be in office for the 50th anniversary commemoration of MLK's death in 2018. That's gonna be a shitshow.

Tumblr: the online dating service for acrobats.
Or fans of old fashioned drinkware. Either works.

Upvoted.

I am genuinely surprised to discover reddit is still 'a thing'. I had assumed it had gone the way of digg, del.icio.us and fark.com, sometime in the early 2010s…
