The projectile looks a little like a combination wrench, in which case this is old technology.
I was talking to one of our mechanics the other day and apparently the oil change procedure on an Audi R8 is just a nightmare, because there are 7 (!) drain points to get the oil out. Also, there’s no dipstick so you have to wait for the sensor reading to stabilize after you refill with fresh dino squeezins and if you…
On the 13B they don’t even install it at the factory. I’ll bet there’s a dumpster full of torque behind the engine assembly plant
I read lots of horror stories about the valve clearance job and then actually did it and it was really easy. I’m not sure what the fuss was about.
The Craftsman brand was recently sold to Stanley Black & Decker. With any luck, they’ll re-onshore some tool production or at least go back to sourcing from SK Tool (an Ideal subsidiary) for the Craftsman Professional line. A lot of the stuff in the stores these days is/was manufactured I THINK by Apex, which owns…
You probably won’t get enough stars, but nicely done.
THANK YOU. I didn’t know he was on tour this summer. Now I have tickets.
This is a tiny little project I’m doing. I’ve got a lot more batteries that I WANT to replace (UPS unit battery refresh) but I’m squeezing them to the bitter end in order to delay the expenditure.
I did my part. I recycled about 4500 pounds of lead acid batteries a few weeks ago. I’ve got another 16000 pounds to recycle in the near future.
They’re in the car selling business. That’s a cost of doing business. Also, the software does that shit for them all automagic like.
I put my $20 in this weekend and the wife and I loved it. Jordan Peele needs to make more movies, right now.
Shoe size? Let’s not get crazy. I think we can all agree that anyone rocking a size 13 or above isn’t REALLY a person and deserves to be thrown into tiger pit.
Texas might be ok militarily. All the nukes are built in Texas and a lot of other defense industry is in Texas too. The Lockheed Martin plant in Fort Worth has a well established capability for cranking out warplanes since WW2 and it’s currently building F-35s.
We’ve got a similar truck at COTA. It’s called a knuckle boom rollback wrecker.
My uncle restored a WW2-era Willys Jeep, and that’s what I learned to drive manual in. So early 40's probably for me.
Back in the way backs, I was at the theater to see Jurassic Park. Sitting in front of me was a father and his 2 voung kids. I tapped him on the shoulder and let him know that the dinosaurs in the movie were going to be pretty scary. He assured me that his kids will be fine because they love Barney.
What kind of terrible ass system is it that can’t distinguish between positive and negative numbers? HOLY SHIT. It’s not like negative numbers were invented last week, they’ve been around since the big bang and humans have known about them for several thousand years. That someone would design a system (probably…
Is it just me or does the woman’s face on the poster look a lot like Natalie Portman? I’ve seen the original photo and the woman in the photo doesn’t really look like Natalie Portman, but once Shepard Fairy did his thing the face changed.
Any bets on whether at least one of the fathers that made their daughters forfeit are taking a supplement for “low T”?
