I don’t know about Bend-Pak but my Mohawk lift came with stuff in the manual about outdoor installation. It’s bolted into the floor with a BUNCH of Big Ass Anchors (tm), so I’d have no worries about stability.

Yes, it IS slow. I kinda like that for when I want to hit the button and walk out and not have to do the Indiana Jones move. Yes, I know it’s got a timer, but that’s like... extra buttons to push.

I didn’t see them until too late. I have a Mohawk lift, but I didn’t buy the one shown. I bought the one right below it and it can’t do the wheel adaptors, which is a major bummer.

The winning move is a 2 post lift w/ wheel adaptors. that way you have all the advantages of a 2 post, but can also lift a car by the wheels for storage.

I have that same liftmaster garage door opener in my shop, and I have it for the same reason you do - ceiling clearance.
