Can I ask why you used an apostrophe for the plural form of “doctor” but not the other professions? Incorrect use of punctuation is fascinating when it’s used so inconsistently. I’d just like to know how your brain works. You used a semicolon correctly, for pity’s sakes, but you threw in that incorrect apostrophe so

I’ve long been in the “yes, vulva is the correct term, but you will be more clearly understood by many people if you say vagina, and the object of language is communication” camp.

When I first hit publish, I had put “pendant” instead of “pedant.” I corrected it immediately, but it wasn’t showing up right away. Those were a tense 3 minutes as I waited for the edit to show up and hoped that no pedants would show up to call me out for using the wrong word for pedant.

John Mulaney fan?

Kanye new Deraliq line?

Really? How dare you besmirch Peter Gabriel!

No Yoko, the world could do with a bit more self-restraint and empathy for others and maybe a little less #YOLO #im-gonna-do-me self love

Of course not. The microphone is facing the wrong side.

Always with the fucking Zepplins.

Bimmerang

Back-rolling, because children and pets would make you suffer otherwise.

Good. Superbowl performers don’t get paid. I wouldn’t put on a free show for a shady miserable corporation worth billions either. Wish more people would stop supporting their bullshit.

This was Upper North Dakota (Canada) so no FAA jurisdiction. Upper North Dakota probably has something like that.

Ha! On a recent episode of Ballers (on HBO - dumb name, enjoyable show) someone asks DJ's character if he's Vin Diesel. He smiles and responds, "I'm bigger and I'm better looking." I wonder how long ago that was filmed...

You’ve pissed off both the horse people and the arrow people. Ask Custer what happens next.

Justin,

They should at least invert it (gal/mi or gal/100 mi or something). One thing mpg’s obscures is that a small difference in mpg on a high efficiency car means a helluva lot less than on an inefficient car.

Those aren’t bad ideas at all. I may also add to it changing the units to be a little more accurately reflective of just how much of a difference a few MPGs can make.

I’m really less concerned with the rating than I am about the unit of measurement (MPG) itself. This is a bit tricky to explain, but just think about it, it makes sense.
