Only the worst in that it was actually a terrible book. And horribly predictable.

I've read I think through book 4. And you are right. It is pretty terrible. What I love about Malazan though is that it is a book about the world moreso than about specific characters. I like that you keep seeing the world from the view of a different character. Even though I do love characters like Quick Ben and…
I disagree with Murphy. She actually does grow. But you are right about Harry. He never grows as a character, no matter what anyone else says. I've read all of them up to and including Changes. He's a terrible character that never gets better. And he's really just a douchebag.
I love them too. I haven't read the latest one (the one after Thicker Than Water); but I was under the impression that there would be more after that. Don't know though, especially with Carey taking on that new graphic novel project.
Yeah I have to agree with this. His suffering is really different than the others on this list. I'd say from this same style of book series the Felix Castor books deal a little bit more with externally imposed suffering (ie having to exorcise your dead sister as a kid, Rafi, pretty much the entire Thicker Than Water…
Why should it matter to me if someone likes one movie better than another, or even thinks that movie is of better quality than the other? If I like Serenity more than Blade Runner, who cares if you disagree?
All of you who are stating that Blade Runner is by far the better film as if it is a fact, do realize that you really are only expressing an opinion right? I mean, it is a very popular opinion, but still just an opinion. No scientific method is really applied to prove it is, in fact, a better film. Just making sure we…
I kind of want Serenity to win just to see how many people's heads explode. Really though, some of you take this waaaaaay too seriously.
Yeah. I had to vote Serenity just because of the nerd rage going on.
Of course I wasn't crying! I'm a man. Men don't cry over other men. Even if they are the greatest smuggler in the galaxy ...
Dude Viggo was pretty freaking scary. The first one didn't scare me. But the second one? Well ... I wasn't scared, obviously; I was just bored.
Well artificially intelligent machines ARE stupid ... which is because they are the most terrifying things I could imagine. So I suppose there is a lot of validity to that assessment.
"They're crying"
Okay, well aside from the fact that kids should be taught that homosexuality is a perfectly acceptable lifestyle in a non-bigoted society ... sexualized entertainment is far from the biggest problem in media. I'd say that violence is a far bigger problem. Considering that we are statistically have some of the worst…
Much agreed. Or just do some camera tricks to make regular wolves look bigger. Kind of like they did with the hobbits in LOTR.
Really focusing on the semantics eh?
How are they doing the direwolves once they get bigger? One of my biggest fears is that they'll end up looking like the werewolves from Twilight, and then I'll puke.
In the Directv OnDemand featurette when you meet the Stark family the woman who plays Catelyn actually does talk about how cold she is toward Jon. So you will see that.
Been watching all the extras that Directv OnDemand has for Game of Thrones and it looks awesome. In those there is a lot of interaction between Snow and Tyrion, and actually it seems like Tyrion chastises Snow at the Watch about his "victories." Which may actually be a suiting alternative. And I have a feeling from…
I am all for hot women in films just to have hot women in films. Hell, 1st season of Supernatural was awesome and only beautiful women seemed to exist in that show ... but from what you've reviewed and what I've seen in this trailer, it just seems overwhelmingly misogynistic.
