Imagine a car mechanic gets conked on the head and wakes up in the year 1889 and has to tell someone the basic principles behind his usual work day. Those people would take one look at him and say “Wow, you must be some sort of scientist!”
It is like people are complaining that armies accounting clerks using manual ledgers are out of jobs because software from Intuit or Microsoft allows a handful of people to do the same work.
The biggest issue is that productivity has been constantly increasing, but those actually doing the producing aren’t getting anything from it.

I’ve been considering one of these as a weekend toy, so I have been paying attention to prices for about a year (yeah, I drag everything out and over-analyze). This is right on market price, maybe a grand cheaper than some. NP.

Give Porsche credit where due as they have listened to customer (and industry) feedback. We saw this with the 911R / GT3 Touring, return of the manual in GT3 trim and more stripped out driving ethos models.
