From my electricity cost and long term average efficiency, I’m paying the equivalent of $0.79 per gallon to charge my car. Definitely makes EVs more attractive, even the ones with limited range

I own a 120mi range EV in Oregon and you won’t be getting anywhere in this thing. I can’t go north, south, or east because all chargers are out of range. Sure you could camp every 100mi and charge on 120v but with 2 hours of driving a day it would take forever to get anywhere (if you can even get there at all).

Those sales values are also supply limited and generally ordered with no test drive (no SEs available on the lot).

My wife has an outback and I’ll second that complaint about the AEB/lane keep.

I own one of these so I guess you could say I’m the target market?

For battery layout, just copy Rimac. T-shape keeps the weight central and low without raising the driver’s seating position (like a skateboard chassis would). Plus it already fits in the chassis layout with the large tunnel and gas tank behind the seats.

Freebords are awesome! Literally snowboarding on the street. Anyone hating on that doesn’t know what they are missing

Now playing

Someday, if I can ever afford it, I want to convert my NA Miata to electric.
