My own SO has had a few manic episodes resulting in four separate hospitalizations before we finally found a doctor who was on his game enough to identify her issues and find the right help. She’s been episode free for two years now, but it hasn’t been easy either.

Waaaay back when I was a littledigititis, I learned about compassion for people with mental illness from Night Court. Honestly the only other show I can think of from that era which displayed a knowing, compassionate appreciation for people who had to live with mental illness might’ve been M*A*S*H, but even then it

I’m glad your S.O. was able to get they help they needed. As for you watching Night Court because, “I think it was the theme song,” that was one of main reasons I liked the show. The theme song had an excellent introductory bass riff, much like Barney Miller did in the 70s.

I got to that line and quickly checked to see whether I was reading The AV Club or The Root.

Comet edits the episodes for time. It’s nice to see MST3000 back on the air, but I’d rather watch the entire, uncut episode.

Time Of The Apes!

If only there were a club for mst3k lovers, where we could watch every single episode of the show ever. Maybe I should google for something like that.
