Christ. Doing my weekly “I may as well see how AV Club is doing” visit, and I see that after 2+ hours of this Newswire on a well-known, quotable IP having been put up, there’s only 1 comment. This site is dead, my word. How depressing.

THANK YOU! This Schimkowitz guy mistakes being dismissive and vapid for being snarky and having wit and its soooo bad. I've noticed it over a few articles.
Due to the lack of diversity, the the film will be pulled from circulation and will undergo an expensive process of diversification by digitally inserting Scarlett Johansson and Emma Stone.
Using the traditional animation style is a “regression”? Is that the word you meant to use? Did you mean digression?
Yeah, I thought of that after I saw it. I think they had a total of one scene together where they were briefly introduced and that’s all.
Its good that even in its presently diminished state, AV Club can still put out the occasional informative and enjoyable article about something I care about.
Aw. A good old-fashioned Simpsons reference. Pour one out for Disqus era AV Club.
Christ, I’ve had enough of this guy and his agent’s very concerted efforts over the last 6 months to reignite his stone-dead career. He’s fucking everywhere and he’s just as terrible as he was when he was a child: smarmy and self-aware.
Nothing wrong with watching vintage TV. I myself spend a stupid amount of time digitizing and uploading old MST3K episodes with the original commercials stress straight of the VHS tapes and onto YouTube.
Speaking of comments and death spirals; are your idiot Venture Capital bosses ever going to turn the comments back on at Deadspin, or are they deliberately trying to kill off the site?
Stick to cars!
Who would’ve thought that those of us wishing for the death of Kinja would’ve gotten our wish granted in the most ironic, monkey-paw way by just having the comment sections be totally shut down.
Here’s to hoping the hullabaloo over at Deadspin results in some good. Like maybe that awful Venture Capital firm washes their hands of it all and sells the sites to someone that isn’t terrible. Or maybe just Onion/AV Club get bought by someone else. And ultimately AV Club gets rid of Kinja.
“New Dracula series...”
5 episodes after a 2 year hiatus? They're reaching Venture Bros levels of delay.
Christ, I forgot that Dudley Do-Right movie existed. Between these 2 films and the Rocky and Bullwinkle movie, I sure put my dad through some absolute hell in the late 90s/early 2000s.
Damnit, Ernie the Kinja Tech!
Boy, the Banana Splits haven’t aged well, have they?
How do you say “I am the lizard queen!” in French?
This one's got a new hat!
