I really hope this turns out as a total piece of shit, as opposed to the mediocre forgettable movie it most like likely will be.

Time to bring back the intermission.
I thought we’d already pretty well established Jemele Hill’s craven, soulless, go-along-to-get-along stoogery.
“After the Black Panther review, I think we can all finally acknowledge that Mike is part of the alt-right”
So you’re cool with an officer who has probably handed out thousands and thousands in tickets to people for doing the exact same thing? Depending on how fast they got up to, it’s straight to jail for you or me and at least a $1k fine. No, fuck that cop and I’m glad he was caught. Should never be allowed behind the…
Who was asking for this?
I think either way, he would’ve died onstage.
And the 10:30 show is completely different from the 7:30 show!
Anyone else agree that’s an underrated comedy gem?
This time, the normies don’t know they’re in way over their heads, because they assume, at least for a while, that the gun-wielding goons that show up at their door are just part of the elaborate role-playing party game they’ve gathered to play.
So ... nobody came to the games because of the shit stadium. You just described Tampa Bay, and they’re (at least) working on fixing the stadium part of the equation. The rest of your post is Montreal Chamber of Commerce puffery.
Not nearly as surprised as I was this morning when I read it on Gizmodo.
It’s a real testament to the confidence of the TNG writers just how little they relied on fan service. They had good characters, they had good stories to tell, they had good actors, they didn’t need fanboy BS.
I couldn’t have said it better. And BTW like most of Burnham’s plans, this one fails spectacularly, since the Klingons and Federation are at war a few years later (well before TOS takes place)!
Actually if you visit a electronics store, you will find turntables that look like the 1960s and Art Deco radios from the 1930s that are all sophisticated 21st century devices for streaming and MP3 burning. In other words as technology becomes more sophisticated and embedded, it doesn’t matter what the outside of the…
Okay now.... Star Trek is a future that will never happen. Your last statement is kinda sad. As for the first part, I love positive change.... Change that takes the narrative forward and not back. Star Trek was an open narrative that could go indefinitely. Now it’s following the depressive trajectory found in…
Problem being Trials and Tribbleations exists and looks fantastic.
Im simply not a fan. All she does is that dumb tilt of her head with her mouth hanging open half the time.
Honestly, I (along with many others, I guess) called the Enterprise popping up as a season ender as soon as the pilot aired. It’s just basic cheap fanservice 101, and judging by some reactions here and elsewhere, it’s enough to make this finale the greatest thing in the universe for some people.
“I wondered briefly if the whole “we can make Klingons look like humans” would turn into a way to justify why Klingons on the original series are so physically different from “modern” Klingons, but maybe they’re saving that for next year.”
